Ahead of the Plymouth game, we spoke with Mark Lovell (@LovellLowdown) to see how things have been going in Devon.
Plymouth currently sit in 15th, how would you review your season so far and where do you think you’ll finish?
I started off dreaming of a playoff push but the reality was we were more likely to be in a relegation fight, particularly as we couldn’t win away and we continued to ship absolutely preventable goals. Maybe this grim reality was what sent Schumacher off to Stoke before Xmas, or maybe it was the MASSIVE wad of cash from Bet365 and Stoke. How’s that worked out for you Steven? I digress. I have absolutely no idea where we’ll finish. I tipped sixth preseason, any position between sixth and 21st is possible, but I think we’ll be fine to stay up fairly comfortably.
