LADS WIN IN THE STATES
Sunderland made it three wins from three in their pre-season preparations, with a 3-1 win over San Antonio FC. Their first game in the USA had been dubbed the 'SAFC Derby'. Chris Rigg and Hemir both continued their goalscoring form after scoring against South Shields, with Jewison Bennette sealing the win in added time. San Antonio at one point pulled it back to 1-1 through PC (he's known as that) when he caught Patterson out with an incredible halfway line free kick, but in the end our quality shone through in front of a full stadium.
