LINES FROM LONDON V BRADFORD

After the Mansfield debacle I suppose any kind of win would bring a flicker of joy and after being surprised that we fielded so many first choice players on Saturday, I’m sure we’ll see more of the young players having a run-out this evening. The match itself hasn’t a great deal of significance as we’re through to the next round anyway but if we finish top, then we’ll be at home in the next round. The attendance will probably be minimal. Bradford are currently twelfth in League Two and have only won one of their last five league games. They can’t proceed in this competition even if they win tonight so what have they got to lose? I’ll be at the game as I don’t get too many chances to see us play and am quite looking forward to it after a pre-match libation in Fitzgerald’s. Match prediction: 3-1 to us.

I got the team-news when I was in the pub and there were a few young faces starting - Sohna, Younger and Richardson – as well as Hoffmann and Broadhead, who’s a player I like to watch.
