This is hardly a roundup, because there's only one story on everyone's lips today. Although Sunderland are still without a manager, there has been a development which makes things very interesting!
STILL LEAVES REIMS
Will Still's name has been heard on Wearside ever since Tony Mowbray departed. Much had been made of his expensive buy-out clause which would have made him one of history's most expensive managers, had Sunderland acquired his services. However, today it was announced that the 31-year-old has stepped down from his role at Reims with immediate effect. Now a free agent, Sunderland may well look to swoop in - especially as his brother and assistant Nicolas Still will also leave the club. A video went viral where, in a team talk, Still was able to switch instantly between French and English while talking to his players. That would be particularly beneficial in Sunderland's squad which has a mixture of young English talent like Dan Neil, Anthony Patterson and Chris Rigg, and a French collective with Adil Aouchiche, Pierre Ekwah and Adboullah Ba to name a few.
