JOFFY POST MILLWALL

This is what Joe Gelhardt had to say after a tough debut against Millwall...

HARD FOUGHT POINT

"It's a tough place to come, I think everyone knows that. We came here, we knew we had to expect long balls, second balls, it would be a scrappy game. But I thought we fought well. In the end we were unlucky not to get three points, especially in the second half we were on the front foot and on another day we could have another goal late on and get three points. Other than that I thought we played quite well and we'll take the point."

DEBUT

"I can't pick and choose what games I play so I'll have to try and do a job whichever game it is. It's not ideal to play here on your debut as it's so tough and always a fight but you have to do it as a footballer and I'm looking forward to the next game."

TALENTED TEAMMATES

"It felt very good (playing with them). I was impressed by them. I've seen them all week in training and I know how good they are, and to play with them - especially Amad, Jack and Pat - linking up together. I'm looking forward to the next game now and hopefully we can get three points."

FANS

"From Sunderland down to London, it's incredible how many people come and I think myself and all the team can't thank them enough for coming and showing their support. On another day, we get three points and they can go home happy. But I'm sure they won't be complaining because we gave it our all, so thanks to the fans."

ONTO READING

"Every point is important in this league and we know how close the league is. As long as we don't lose then it's a performance to build off. So we're looking forward to getting three points in the next game hopefully."

STEWART PRESSURE

"Obviously it's pressure because Ross scored so many goals and it's unfortunate that he's injured now. But I'm in the team now to try and do his role and that sort of thing. So yeah, I like the pressure."
