It speaks volumes of the esteem in which Trai Hume is held in South Belfast that many Linfield fans are worried about their title charge after the 19-year-old right-back departed Windsor Park for Wearside.
Hume may have only played 31 senior games for the Blues under ex-Sunderland striker David Healy, but his robust defensive displays and flair in attack have endeared him to the demanding Linfield faithful.
Two goals in his final two Northern Irish Premiership games - one against arch-rivals Glentoran - mean he leaves Northern Ireland on a high; but League One football will present an entirely different challenge for the talented teenager.<
