Celtic Confirm SAFC in for Morgan

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that SAFC have made a move for Lewis Morgan: "There is an interest from Sunderland and from Jack, and there's one or two other clubs interested. I believe that getting regular game time is going to be absolutely important for him so that move with hopefully take place for him. It's just a case of finding a club, because there's a couple of good clubs in for him, but finding the right club that gives him that game time. Of course, it's up to the player as well. We can advise, but the decision is with the player. Especially at that age. He's not 16,17 or 18 where you're sort of shepherding down a route. He's in his early 20's, he's man enough now and all you can do is present the options to him and ultimately it's up to him where he's going to play."

In other news, George Honeyman has recovered from injury and hopes to return against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday. “I returned to training on Monday and I couldn’t be happier, as it’s been frustrating watching from the sidelines and I feel like I’ve missed a lot of games. Credit to the boys, though, they’ve held it down and kept pace with the teams at the top during a busy period, and we’re ready to kick on. We had a little break last weekend, which is something you don’t often get, and it’ll serve us well because the games are coming thick and fast. Everyone is refreshed, and I imagine the fans are as well, so we can’t wait to get back to the Stadium of Light this weekend and pick up three points. We’ve had a good season so far, but we’re now reaching the run-in and we have to take care of business.”
