What was your pre-match predictions for the game (honestly)?
3-1
Was the 2-0 score line a fair result in your eyes?
Well, I think we had enough chances to wrap up the game in the first half, but a spirited Sunderland fight-back in the second half made the 2-0 score line a bit harsh and a point apiece might have been a fairer result.
In recent weeks you have scored a lot of goals at White Hart Lane, did you think you could get a lot against us? Considering how bad our defence is.
I thought that Roy Keane would have been working on tightening up the defence to stop us playing. Starting with one up front, it was obvious that the packed midfield would be intended to stop us playing, but it left the attack lacking any threat.
In the first half especially Berbatov was superb, how crucial is he if Tottenham are going to be successful?
We have to keep our best players if we want to try and achieve our ambition of breaking into the top four. Berbatov is key to that, as there isn't a striker like him in the Premier League, but I think we are all aware enough to know that without Champions League football, it will be impossible to keep him. Even if we do go on to win the League Cup, it is unlikely to be enough to make him stay at White Hart Lane.
We improved in the 2 nd half and should have forced an equaliser; do you think that would have been fair?
I think so. But having said that, there were few direct chances on goal and the opportunities to test Cerny were not realised. Stokes has always struck me as a striker who has the assets, but doesn't put them together to threaten the opposition. Chopra is nippy and a good finisher, but probably lacks a bit of strength to hold off defenders. Spurs had a bit of luck with a couple of goal-line clearances, but we took our chances at either end of the game, while the ones Sunderland created could not be put away.
Craig Gordon made an error for the 2 nd goal; do you think he’s worth £9m?
He made a couple of good stops from Berbatov and was out quickly to put Jenas off when clean through, but he was a little bit hesitant with the first goal too. I wouldn't be too critical of his part in the second goal, as if you watch carefully, Keane lets the ball bounce three times until it sits right for him to strike well and while Gordon got a hand to it and it slipped beneath him, it had been wet and the pitch was skiddy.
Anyways are you optimistic for the rest of the season? Whereabouts do you think you’ll finish?
I think we might finish in the top half, as a run of results between now and the end of the season should ensure we move up the table, but I will be happier when we get 40 points. Might get somewhere in the cups, if Ramos can convince the players that they have the all important "winning mentality." Won't finish in the fifth place where we did in the last two seasons, as the start to the season was poor.
Who was your best player?
I thought that Jermaine Jenas was energetic and just edged out Tom Huddlestone, who showed in the first half that he can spray passes around if given the space and time on the ball.
Who was your worst player?
Not sure if anyone had a really bad game, but Stalteri lost Murphy a couple of times (as he often tends to do when we play Sunderland), so I was surprised to see Ramos select him, although I guess Chimbonda was rested for Tuesday's League Cup semi-final second leg.
What did you think of Sunderland’s performance?
Spirited once Chopra replaced Stokes and the second half saw a bit more ambition, although losing a goal inside two minutes, as Keane said, left you a mountain to climb. Without exaggeration, it could have been 4-0 at the break, so anything after that would have been better. There are some poor sides in the Premier League, so that level of performance will be needed to pick up points from the teams around you if survival is to be achieved. It's a bit different now, as players brought in during the transfer window will change the side and hopefully add some quality that might be missing.
Who was our best player?
I thought Miller did well to prod the team forward and Kenwyn Jones is a handful up front, but seriously, if he is worth £40 million, I would hesitate to guess how much Berbatov might fetch if sold.
Who was our worst player?
Surprisingly, after the first game of the season, I thought McShane was shocking. His poor clearance at the start gifted the ball for the first goal and he looked sluggish throughout. With good chances with headers from corners, he also missed the target with some of the better opportunities created.
Where do you think we’ll finish this season?
If you can do well against the sides around you in the table you might do enough to stay up, but it is vital to win points away from home ... even if they are draws. I'm not sure who you have left to play, but it is a dangerous game to rely on other results and I am sure Keane will make sure that the club's destiny is in their own hands.

Who’d win in a fight? Juande Ramos or Roy Keane? And why?
Keane. Ramos is the strong silent type, unlike Jol. Not sure that he would get into a touch-line scrap.
Any other comments…
Good turn out by your fans. Not many clubs have brought that many away this season and they made good noise.
Hope that is OK for your purposes
Take care and good luck for the rest of the season.
