who needs cantona? eh? man utd craic...
fresh from THE SOL

Name: Gav Kelly
Age (If you want): 19
How long you’ve supported the club: Since I can remember

What were your pre-match predictions for the game (honestly)?
I thought a comfortable United victory of around 2 or 3 nil

Was the 4-0 score line a fair result in your eyes?
Yes I think Sunderland can have no arguments about the result, they battled hard but the quality we have was always going to be too much for them to handle

Christiano Ronaldo is on another planet when it comes to playing football, do you consider him the best in the world?
I genuinely do yes. His ability on the football is superb, he’s fast, he’s good in the air and as we all know he’s more than capable of beating defenders and scoring a few goals, his free-kick summed up how good a player he is

We started ok for the first 20 minutes but as soon as you took the lead we knew that the game was more or less over, did you feel the same?
You can never be too sure in football but deep down I couldn’t see you scoring and I knew we’d get a few more, so yeah I did to some degree

Rooney and Saha took their goals very well as expected but I felt our defending was poor for both, what was your take on the goals?
Both goals we great moves but I can see your point because Dwight Yorke lost Rooney for the first and when Saha scored there were 4 or 5 red and white shirts stood looking at him. If you are going to stay up you’ll definitely need to improve your defence

What did you make of the atmosphere at the game? Bearing in mind we were 3-0 at half time.
As I’ve always said the Stadium of Light is well-known for producing a good atmosphere, it didn’t help that our fans allocation was cut but both fans made a lot of noise and it was an enjoyable afternoon, well for us anyways!

I know everyone continues to ask this question but do you think Keane has the credentials to be a top manager and possibly even future United boss?
It’s far too soon to say, Sir Alex will still be United boss for a hell of a long time and even when he does retire I think there is a few better candidates than Keane, but if he manages to keep us up and continue to do well you never know

Anyways are you optimistic for the rest of the season? Whereabouts do you think you’ll finish?
I think we’ll win it

Who was your best player?
Ronaldo

Who was your worst player?
Nani wasn’t great but he won the penalty so I’d say no-one

What did you think of Sunderland’s performance?
Hard-working

Who was our best player?
Michael Chopra looked decent down the right

Who was our worst player?
Dwight Yorke, he’s too slow

Where do you think we’ll finish this season?
16th

Who’d win in a fight? Sir Alex or Roy Keane? And why?

Sir Alex. Keane might be scared of no-one but once the hairdryer treatment started he wouldn’t stand a chance

Any other comments?
Good luck

Thanks for your time
