How long you’ve supported the club: As long as I can remember, first game I went was in April 1994.

What were your pre-match predictions for the game (honestly)?
2-0.

Was the 1-0 score line a fair result in your eyes?
Yes, Man Utd dominated possession but never really created clear cut chances, It took saha coming on to change the game as before then although Sunderland were on the back foot possession wise there didn’t seem a genuine threat and so Sunderland were comfortable.

This game was always billed as Keane’s return, how did you rate the atmosphere when he came out?
Brilliant. He deserves total respect for what he achieved, I can see him back in the managers dugout in the future for Man Utd.

The game also celebrated Ole Solskjaer’s time as a United player, how much of a United great is he? On par with Keane?
He is my Manchester United Hero. His approach to the game was fantastic, never complained when not selected just gave his all and when he got his chance he always seemed to score, usually from the bench Then what a moment, May 26 th 1999 he popped up as he always seemed to do and scored one of the most important goals in Manchester united’s history. Solskjaer and Keane were obviously different players and in my eyes are both legends so I’d have to say he’s on par with Keane.

Craig Gordon pulled off a few decent saves; do you think he’s justifying his price tag or is it too soon to comment? I think it’s a little too early. He looks good; He’ll have to be at his best this season.

Sir Alex Ferguson seems to think he is, will Gordon be the next United keeper?
I don’t think so but he knows a lot more than me. He’s got a chance because of his nationality. I believe Ben Foster has a great career ahead of him.

It seemed to me that you lacked a lethal finisher on the pitch, the situation did improve when Saha came on but against a better teams than Sunderland are you worried you won’t be clinical enough?
No. Nobody complained last year when we didn’t have saha fit. We were missing Rooney and Ronald who were the highest scorers for Man Utdlast year and so that’s a lot of goals to lose. When there back I think the goals will come.

We had a few United old boys on show, how did you rate Dwight Yorke’s performance?
Man Utd weren’t at there best. Yorkes game was comfortable due to the little threat Man Utd posed but I don’t think he was outstanding.

Who was your best player?
Saha. Only played the second half but changed the game

Who was your worst player?
Anderson. Doesn’t look fit enough

Are you optimistic for the rest of the season? Whereabouts do you think you’ll finish?
I still believe we’ll be champions.

What did you think of Sunderland’s performance?
Showed Man Utd a lot of respect with their tactics of only having one striker up front and so filled the midfield, although they never really troubled Man Utd.

Who was our best player?
Craig Gordon, Fantastic save from Louis Saha’s volley.

Who was our worst player?
Daryl Murphy, didn't look interested when he came on.

Where do you think we’ll finish this season?
I'd say 15th, you’re missing key players and need them fit as soon as possible.

I think I’d back Fergie. You can’t better experience. Patrick Vieira may say otherwise.
