What was your pre-match predictions for the game (honestly)?
It genuinely was 1-0 to City, just wish I’d put a few quid on it!

Was the 1-0 score line a fair result in your eyes?
Yeah, it was a fairly poor game with the little quality on show. There wasn’t much between the two sides, we just had a bit more quality when our chance arose

Neither side created much but you took your chance, do you think that’s the difference between quality Premier League players and fairly inexperienced ones?
Very much so. We seem able to grind out results at the moment whilst not playing well, whereas you don’t

What did you make of Ireland’s finish?
Ireland took his goal very well, but it came as no surprise. He’s been playing well in recent weeks, and has excellent technique

Every time Keane stepped into the technical area the ground filled with boos, you created some atmosphere, how much do you hate Keane?
Keane is loathed at City, not just for being a United stalwart but also for his cowardly assault on Alf Inge Haaland

What do you make of Sven’s start as boss?
The start we’ve made under Sven has been nothing short of exceptional. In Sven we trust

What were your feelings about him when he was appointed? Had you rated him for England?
Despite reports in the media to the contrary, most City fans I know were delighted when Sven took over. His club record is second to none and I still feel he did a decent job for England; under his leadership we never had any problems qualifying for tournaments, even though we always fell a little short. Much of that is due to the fact that our players aren’t actually as good as everyone thought

He never seems to get angry on the touchline; do you prefer the calm approach? As opposed to the ranting and raving Stuart Pearce?
Pearce’s ranting and raving was quite endearing at first, but Sven’s calm approach is much more dignified and clearly more successful

Do you think you can maintain your 100% home form? Have the wins been deserved or have you been lucky?
We’ve ridden our luck on a couple of occasions, and obviously we won’t maintain a 100% record all season. But 7 wins out of 7 is a phenomenal achievement, especially compared to last season’s dour home form

What do you make of Roy Keane’s career as a Premier League manager so far?
I was impressed with the start he made to his managerial career with Sunderland last season, but his inexperience is starting to show a little. His buys in the transfer market haven’t been the best - we picked up the likes of Petrov and Elano for similar fees to what you paid for Jones and Chopra. That’s the benefit of Sven’s contacts

This is probably a stupid question but which is better? Eastlands or the Stadium of Light?
I haven’t been to the Stadium of Light so couldn’t comment. They both seem like identikit, soulless modern stadia

Anyways are you optimistic for the rest of the season? Whereabouts do you think you’ll finish?
