Name: Jono Ryder
Age (If you want): 21
How long you’ve supported the club: Since I can remember
What were your pre-match predictions for the game (honestly)?
1-1 draw.
Was the 2-0 score line a fair result in your eyes?
It probably should have been more, we were lucky to avoid a good hiding.
What do you make of James McFadden? He signed for a lot of money but looked distinctly average on Tuesday.
I think he needs time to settle in, McLeish has played a lot of money for his services and I’m confident he will be a good signing for us.
Both goals came from defensive mistakes, are you concerned about your back four?
Yeah, we gave away disappointing goals that could have easily been prevented. Usually we have a fairly tight-fisted defence but if I’m honest we couldn’t handle Kenwyne Jones. He was by far and away your best player and will be key to your hopes of survival this season.
Anyways are you optimistic for the rest of the season? Whereabouts do you think you’ll finish?
I’m hoping for 16th and I think we can do it.
Who was your best player?
No one stood out.
Who was your worst player?
Liam Ridgewell
What did you think of Sunderland’s performance?
Better than ours.
Who was our best player?
Kenwyne Jones
Who was our worst player?
I thought Danny Collins did ok but that’s about it
Where do you think we’ll finish this season?
One above us, 15th.
